手板的分類
Classification of hand boards
早期的手板因為受到各種條件的限制，主要表現(xiàn)在其大部分工作都是用手工完成的，使得做出的手板工期長而很難嚴(yán)格達到外觀和結(jié)構(gòu)圖紙的尺寸要求，因而其檢查外觀或結(jié)構(gòu)合理性的功能也大打折扣。

另一方面，隨著社會競爭的日益激烈，產(chǎn)品的開發(fā)速度日益成為競爭的主要矛盾，而手板制造恰恰能提高產(chǎn)品開發(fā)的速度。

手板按照制作的手段分，可分為手工手板和數(shù)控手板：
According to the manufacturing methods, the hand board can be divided into hand board and NC hand board:
（1）手工手板：其主要工作量是用手工完成的。
(1) Manual hand board: its main workload is completed by hand.
（2）數(shù)控手板：其主要工作量是用數(shù)控機床完成的，而根據(jù)所用設(shè)備的不同，又可分為激光快速成形
(2) CNC hand board: its main workload is completed by CNC machine tools, which can be divided into laser rapid prototyping according to different equipment
RP手板：主要是用激光快速成型技術(shù)生產(chǎn)出來的手板。
RP hand board: it is mainly produced by laser rapid prototyping technology.
CNC手板：主要是用加工生產(chǎn)出來的手板。
CNC hand board: it is mainly produced by processing.
要表現(xiàn)在它的快速性上，但是它主要是通過堆積技術(shù)成型，因而RP手板一般相對粗糙，而且對產(chǎn)品的壁厚有一定要求，比如說壁厚太薄便不能生產(chǎn)。

CNC手板的優(yōu)點體現(xiàn)在它能非常準(zhǔn)確的反映圖紙所表達信息，而且CNC手板表面質(zhì)量高，尤其在其完成表面噴涂和絲印后，甚比開模具后生產(chǎn)出來的產(chǎn)品還要光彩照人。因此，CNC手板制造愈來愈成為手板制造業(yè)的主流

手板按照制作所用的材料分，可分為塑膠手板和金屬手板：
According to the materials used for making, the hand board can be divided into plastic hand board and metal hand board:
（1）塑膠手板：其原材料為塑膠，主要是一些塑膠產(chǎn)品的手板，比如電視機、顯示器、電話機等等。

（2）金屬手板：其原材料為鋁鎂合金等金屬材料，主要是一些高產(chǎn)品的手板.比如筆記本電腦、單放機、MP3播放機、CD機等等。

制作手板的必要性

手板不僅是可視的，而且是可觸摸的，他可以很直觀的以實物的形式把設(shè)計師的創(chuàng)意反映出來，避免了“畫出來好看而做出來不好看”的弊端。因此手板制作在新品開發(fā)，產(chǎn)品外形推敲的過程中是必不可少的。
